Where it all started?

Something that I have been asked a few times is where my love and passion for Electronics and Radio but also Land Rovers, 4WD and the Australian Bush. I was exposed to it all when I was a kid. Mum was around 8 months pregnant with me when they went to a field day at Gundagai. In those days mainly Land Rovers, a few Land Cruisers, the odd Patrol, Suzuki, or Jeep.

While still at school we had a good family friend who was running his own communications business in Quirindi. I would spend weekends and school holidays helping out and learning not only the radio and electronics, but also the mechanical side of it as well. This included how to set up a differential correctly from scratch!
