With over 20 years experience working in the radio industry full time, as a Senior Field Technician for just over 10 years with a large radio company in the Hunter Valley - Tejays 4WD has plenty of experience. Installation and fixing UHF CB’s involved in a state wide building and upgrading of the Rural Fire Service Paging System and both the Rural Fire Service and National Parks and Wildlife Service and Private Mobile Radio Systems - just to name a few.
As Tejays 4WD, some of the work includes the installation, repairs and maintenance of several Government departments in the area, as well as the fleet of fire bombers based at Scone airport. We have our own Radio Communications Test Set, and Antenna / Spectrum Analyser. With this equipment we can usually diagnose and repair most installation problems and basic radio repairs.
We also have our own repeater and an Amateur radio repeater linked to the North West Amateur Radio System VK2RTJ, near Scone in the Upper Hunter. This Amateur system gives coverage along the New England Highway from Muswellbrook to the State Border near Tenterfield, then west out to Mungindi and beyond. We have spoken to members on the Gold Coast from Scone!

As keen 4WDers we have been in some quite remote places. Being an Amateur Radio Operator we have experience in HF radio. We have talked from the West McDonald Ranges, west of Alice Springs back to Scone direct, built our own base station antennas, installed, serviced and repaired commercially available Radios and Antennas.
Mobile Phone Boosters
CelFi Go Mobile.
The CelFi Go is a great product to give you better phone coverage. They are available as just the unit itself or as a kit. As these units are carrier specific, we need these details before ordering. Please make sure that your service provider allows the option for your mobile device to log onto a CelFi. Some sim cards don’t allow this option.
The Units alone range from $800 - $950. The kits start from $850. The kits come with quality RFI antennas and you simply cannot buy all the parts at this price.
CelFi Gos approximately take from 1 - 2 hours to install depending on the vehicle and your needs.
We will give customers a discount when supplying and installing these kits.
CelFi Go Stationary.
Want to use the CelFi Go for better mobile coverage in you home, office, workshop, or crib hut? The CelFi Go can also be used as a stationary unit. This is the same as the mobile units. The setup of the unit itself along with the antennas, etc., in the kits are different.
These kits come with the ability for multiple antennas to be connected together to cover larger areas as needed.
As per the Mobile units, they range from $800 - $950 and the kits start at $900.
The Celfi Go units will only boost 1 band at a time. There are CelFi units available to boost 2 bands at a time - ie. 3G and 4G simultaneously.

Want to have a phone kit in you side by side, quad, or your hut in your weekend getaway?
Maybe these kits are the solution for you….
Bury do entry level kits, as well as advanced kits. We have installed and interfaced these entry level kits to the audio systems of “ Firebosses “. It is an 802 Air tractor on floats dedicated to fire bombing so that the Pilots and / or Co-Pilot can make or receive important or critical phone calls while in the air fighting fires and not let go of the controls.
Kits start at $300. They can be quite fiddly to install and generally require other parts to install if a cradle is also required.
Bury Cradles.
Already have and happy with the bluetooth in you vehicle but would like a cradle to put your phone in? Are site requirements that your mobile phone is in a commercially made cradle to be able to use on site hands free?
Maybe the Bury Phone Cradle is what you need. They are dedicated cradles for devices such as iPhone, Samsung and also fully adjustable universal cradles. The cradles have the ability for charging and external antenna connections.
The Bury base plate and universal cradle start at $220. These cradles need more time to fit and often require other parts to install - especially if you don’t want visible holes in your dashboard. There are quite a number of brackets available that are car specific.
